Sweet Penelope found herself in need of a new home after her owner passed away. She came arrived at the Burbank Animal Shelter very shy and shut down. Shelter staff socialized with her daily, gaining her trust and showing her everything was okay. She is now ready and confident to find her forever home and an owner that will give her the time she needs to blossom in her new home. Penelope is a gentle soul and will require a very low key and quiet household. An adult only home with no dogs. She may do fine with other cats as the home she came from had many cats living there.
