Stormy came in to the Burbank Animal Shelter extremely overweight and with fur so matted certain parts of her hair had to be shaved. Stormy will need an owner willing to help her loose the extra weight and help her with her grooming as she is too obese to clean herself. She is currently on weight reduction food at the shelter while treats are extremely limited as it is important for her health to shed a few pounds. She is sweet and enjoys being pet but will let you know when she has had enough. The Shelter thinks she might be ok with other cats as long as they respect her space, however she will likely not do well with dogs. She would be best in a low key household with an experienced owner who is looking for more of an independent cat. NO kids as she can get over stimulated and is just not a fan of them. Adult household preferred.
